Dr. Kevin Philipow
SE Calgary dentist Dr. Kevin Philipow has been a part of the Deer Valley Dental Care team since 2015.
A native of Kindersley, Saskatchewan, Kevin took his dental training at the University Of Saskatchewan. He has practiced in Calgary for 24 years, starting his career at the Foothills Hospital Dental Department.
Dr. Philipow believes every patient deserves to understand their dental conditions fully and their cause. They also deserve to learn about all their treatment options so they can make the best decision for themselves with our help.
He also wants people to understand how their dental health is a reflection of their overall health and how their oral health can impact the rest of their body.
In his opinion people always make the best decisions for themselves given the resources they have available to them at the time of the decision. I also believe that there are no unresourceful people, only unresourceful states.
As a general dentist Dr Philipow provides additional services like Invisalign orthodontics, TMD and Orofacial pain treatment, and solutions for snoring and Sleep Apnea. Dr. Philipow loves Calgary because it is a vibrant city with plenty of economic, social and recreational opportunities.
In his spare time he likes hiking, mountain biking, reading, and researching alternative health options. He also enjoys time with his wife Cathy and his daughter Amanda.
